Who we help · Startups
A startup does not need a big store. It needs one channel that reliably turns strangers into buyers, built cheaply enough that you can still afford to learn from it.
Most first-time founders overbuild. A large catalogue with no demand, an app before there are repeat customers, a marketplace before there are sellers, custom features nobody has asked for yet. It consumes the runway that should have been spent finding out whether people want the product.
We build the smallest store that can genuinely sell (clean product pages, working payments, honest delivery, correct tracking) and put the remaining budget into finding the first channel that works.
Once something is repeatably profitable, we build outward from evidence rather than assumption. That order is not a compromise; it is what survival looks like.
What a first launch includes
Everything else can wait until there is revenue to justify it.

Payment methods your market actually uses, with COD handled properly rather than avoided.

Tracking, cohorts and feedback loops so the first hundred orders teach you what the next thousand need.
How a startup engagement runs
Four to eight weeks to a live store, then a channel test before any significant spend.
Landed cost, price, margin, expected return rate and the CAC your unit economics can support. This is the conversation that decides whether the rest is worth doing.
The smallest store that can sell properly. Everything not required for a first sale goes on a later list, with a written reason.
Platform, catalogue, payments, delivery, tracking and content, typically four to eight weeks depending on range and photography.
One acquisition channel funded properly for long enough to produce a real answer, measured on contribution rather than clicks.
If contribution works, we scale and add channels. If it does not, we say so and help you change the offer rather than spend more on the same one.
Why Globosoft
Reasons that hold whichever part of the 360° engagement you start with, and every one of them is something you can check before you commit.
Verified on the Shopify Partner Directory, with more than 100 Shopify ecommerce projects delivered for India, the UAE and beyond. We also build on WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, OpenCart, headless and fully custom stacks when Shopify is not the right answer.
Consulting, design, engineering, integration and performance marketing report into a single roadmap. No handover gaps between a consultant, a developer and a marketing agency.
The growth engagement is an agreed percentage of the incremental sales we create above a signed baseline, not a recurring retainer that arrives whether you grew or not.
Sixty-plus people in our own offices in Kochi and Dubai, not a subcontracted network. Sixteen years in the industry and more than 400 projects delivered, from first-time startups to international brands, in India, the Gulf, Africa, Europe, North America and Australia.
Globosoft works as a growth partner, not a monthly line item. We agree a baseline, build and market your ecommerce, and take an agreed share of the incremental sales that follow. If your revenue does not move, our fee does not either.
The usual agency deal
The Globosoft growth-share deal
No open-ended monthly fee for the growth engagement. The commercial deal is tied to sales, not to calendar months.
An agreed percentage of the incremental revenue we generate, measured against a baseline we both sign off before work starts.
Everyone in the room is paid by the same number: the revenue and contribution margin your store produces.
Questions
The questions that come up most often in the first conversation.
It depends on catalogue size, content readiness and integration needs. A focused first store on Shopify or WooCommerce with payments, delivery and tracking is a modest fixed-scope project; complexity such as B2B pricing, multi-country or ERP integration raises it. We scope from your actual requirements and give a fixed number rather than an hourly estimate.
The build is quoted as a fixed-scope project because it is capital work with a defined end. Growth (marketing, merchandising and optimisation) is where we prefer a share of incremental sales. For qualifying businesses we blend the two, reducing the build cost in exchange for a longer growth term, so launch capital stops being the blocker.
Often, yes. Marketplaces are a fast, low-commitment way to test whether people want the product before investing in your own store. The risk is staying there permanently and never owning the customer. We usually recommend testing on a marketplace and building your own store once demand is proven.
Almost never at the start. Nobody installs software to buy once. Apps make sense when repeat purchase already exists, which for a new brand is usually a year or more away. Mobile web done well serves a startup far better.
Then it is better to know in month two than month twelve. Our audit and economics work is designed to surface that early, and we will tell you plainly. We would rather lose a project than take a fee for building something the arithmetic says cannot succeed.
